Lu Liu - Producer
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2727889/
With over 4 years experience in international business finance and business development, Lu has built an extensive network of foreign affiliates from Beijing, Tokyo, London, Sydney, to Canada. Having perfected and streamlined several cross cultural business models she has become a tremendous asset in minimizing the inherent risks in collecting distribution revenue from all international territories. In 2002, Lu began working as the Executive Assistant to Mr. Morgan Yaping Wang, a Member of the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations to the White House (ACTPN). Within 1 year of working, Mr. Wang decided to push for her promotion to Project Manager in his corporation so that she may better use her abilities to acquire and develop lucrative projects.
In 2007, Lu studied film production at the Los Angeles Film School and learned how to bring together her business experience with her life-long love of film. Her hard line negotiating tactics and inspirational leadership skills proved to be invaluable assets on-set and off. Lu, recently, simultaneously produced and coordinated two films under the ground breaking concept of riding both films under the umbrella of one film’s budget, thereby effectively allocating the various resources to raise the collective production values of all projects while successfully minimizing total cost expenditures. This included aerial helicopter photography and negotiating impossible locales on a shoestring budget. In 2008, Lu formed Nocturnal Blue Productions, a production services company which provides development services as well as production personnel, coordination, and equipment, from the pre-production to post-production stages.
